Don is a classic case of someone who was born to create art, as he has been painting since he was five years old. Don has been painting pictures, signs and murals throughout his entire life, and his art clearly shows his expertise. He currently resides in Amish country, and it’s perfectly represented in his art, showcasing country farmhouses, rustic barns, and the simple plains of the American countryside. Don Vack has been drawing and painting since he was five years old, sketching everyday items around the house.

In 1977 he was hired as an artist at a local tourist shop painting signs, billboards and wall murals.  Two years later he started his own mural and billboard painting business along with canvas oils.  For many years he has been painting classic and antique cars, pets and portraits.

In the last few years he started a van service to drive his Amish neighbors throughout Lancaster County where he gets inspiration for future paintings.  He resides with his wife and dogs in Paradise, PA.
